Setting up E-mail 1 - How to set things up on the Control Panel

Your hosting account allows you to set up 10 email addresses. Let's assume that your domain name is bloggs.co.uk and you want to set up fred@bloggs.co.uk as your main email address. You want any other mail sent to bloggs.co.uk to be sent to your existing email address which is fredbloggs77@hotmail.com. Let's also assume that your Alberon Systems account name is "bloggs".

Log into your control panel with user name "bloggs" and your password.

First set up the fred mailbox:

Click on "mailboxes"
Click on "Create mailbox"
Put in mailbox name "fred" and choose a password (at least 5 characters long)
Make a note of the username the control panel allocates to your mailbox - you'll need it later.

Now sort out the other mail @ bloggs.co.uk:

Click on "email control"
Click on "default routing"
Click on "send to address" and put in fredbloggs77@hotmail.com

As an alternative to this last stage, you could choose for all mail sent to bloggs.co.uk to arrive in fred@bloggs.co.uk. To do this:

Click on "Send to pop3 mailbox" and make sure that the dropdown box shows "fred".
